About us

Project Environmental Bureau
is a team of experts in the field of engineering and environmental consulting. Since 2007 the Bureau has been successfully offering its customers effective solutions for environmental protection.

In 2015 in view of the existing demand for engineering and environmental services and the company experience in Kazakhstan the Bureau made a decision to expand the scope of its business activities beyond the borders of the Republic of Kazakhstan For the purposes of operating in the territory of the Russian Federation «Project Environmental Bureau LLC» was registered in the city of Novosibirsk in the same year. 

All Bureau employees have engineering degrees and work experience of more than 10 years in the environmental field. The competence of the project team leader has been confirmed by the «License for environmental audit and environmental design» issued by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Construction of low-rise buildings and structures

ENVIRONMENTAL SECTION OF THE OSB MANUFACTURING PLANT PROJECT

The «Environmental Protection» Section justified assigning hazard category 3 to the new plant instead of hazard category 2 (currently assigned to similar production processes).

The aforesaid alteration led to significant reductions in the following: costs for regulatory documents, inspections frequency by authorized bodies, and the size of regulatory payments.

Exploration and production of oil and gas in East Kazakhstan Region

JUSTIFICATION OF THE SANITARY PROTECTION ZONE SIZE OF «SARYBULAK» DEPOSIT

Justifications were provided for the correct size of the company sanitary protection zone (C33); ways to reduce the zone (C33) were proposed; consequently, the company was given ground to reduce annual land tax payments for the use of C33 sanitary protection zone.

PROGRAM OF INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL

 

There was a process developed to monitor the company environmental impact on surface water, soil, air and its compliance with current discharge requirements.

Based on the results of the work, a list of environmental protection priority measures was compiled for the company’s management. Experts from 5 accredited laboratories were involved in the work.

COMPULSORY ENVIRONMENTAL AUDIT

Compulsory environmental audit of the company was carried out by decision of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Based on the results of the audit, conclusions were drawn about the degree of production environmental safety and the reliability of environmental protection record keeping and reporting.

COST ASSESMENT FOR THE FORMATION OF THE LIQUIDATION FUND TO COVER LAND RECULTIVATION EQUPMENT DISMANTLING AND OTHER ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVITIES COSTS

The proposed land recultivation methods were justified; liqidation component costs were determind; monitoring recomendations were given for before and after the land recultivation; a summary estimate of work costs was presented. Based on the results obtained.

PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT AS PART OF THE «ALMATY REGIONAL WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM» PROJECT FEASIBILITY STUDY

Accumulated municipal waste environmental impact assessment was completed; issues of solid waste dumps monitoring were studied — an optimal composition of the components to be monitored was recommended; besides, equipping region’s laboratories with additional modern instruments was advised.
